oxytocin and empathy?

this came from a psychiatry blog. it has to do with the eye test by Baron Cohen "reading the mind in the eyes."
it is interesting.

Did you mean Simon Baron-Cohen? Sasha Baron-Cohen is the actor who played Borat and Ali G.

Sasha and Simon are cousins, though.

and be careful - oxytocin and oxycontin look similar but are vastly different.

You might want to change the spelling in the thread title to oxytocin.

Which one was Rush Limba addicted to....he sure isnt the "poster child" for human empathy.

Oxytocin is a naturally-occuring hormone; one of its tasks is to stimulate uterine contractions for labor and milk let-down.

Oxycontin is a powerful opiate, one of the strongest available by prescription, that is very addictive and dangerous if used improperly.
