I have though about getting a weighted vest for a bit, but i was off-put by the high prices. Recently i found a exercise weighted vests that cost 20€ and not 80€+
Has anyone else thought about this?

I considered this but ended up buying both a pressure vest and a weighted vest. I've got sports wrist weights though, so it could work.

I bought the vest, it has free shipping, but it might take 10-40 days for it to arrive. It can be tightened and the weights are removable. I'm looking forward to it

I have heard of them but haven't used one yet. I wonder how a thick chainmail vest would feel, both texture and weight.

Weighted and pressure things feel good for me. Although when it comes wearing, I live in a hot state so...it becomes uncomfortable. :(

Some weighted vests have special pockets and come with a cooling pack that makes sure you dont get too hot

And maybe a shirt made of a material that keeps you cool, like what athletes wear.

Greetings. I have wanted to get a pressure vest. I am unsure if I should get a weighted or pressure vest, but I know I'd like to get one of the other. I really enjoy pressure. My main form of having pressure if a hug from someone, but no one I really know likes hugs like I do. So maybe I should do more searching. Most of the ones I have found on the internet are like $200+, or if they are cheaper, they are for children. So I have been having difficulty finding a cheaper one, but I feel I'd enjoy it. Congratulations on getting one :D

I have a weighted vest that I use pretty much everyday. Its really helpful because I can wear it out in public and while walking around doing things. It's so helpful. It's enabled me to do a lot more and go more places than I can without it. I use it for general anxiety, panic attacks, meltdowns and sensory overload. I really like a weighted vest because I can wear it in public and I can easily take it on and off as I need. It's a regular jean vest with metal weights on the upper chest and upper back. The weights are removable so you can machine wash the vest part. I've had it for a couple years and it's held up pretty well.

Mine is from OTVest weighted vests. They're marketed at kids but they have sizes that fit adults up to 165 pounds. Yes, they're expensive, but I found it worth it.

I love deep pressure. I wonder if there are other portable options?

I have a 2 lb one which fits snugly, although it rides a little higher than I'd like because it's meant for children. The only problem is, it's fleece, so wearing it during the summer isn't really an option. Because of this, I bought a custom-made one for about $100 on Etsy. It's made of light cotton, and advertised as a summer vest, which I'm hoping will make it cooler. It's about 6 lbs, which is only two pounds lighter than my weighted blanket (I only weigh about 90 lbs). The weights are removable, so I can reduce the weight if it's too heavy.

About the chainmail option, I've actually worn chainmail before. It's extremely heavy, but felt really good. The chains did tend to pull my hair and pinch my skin when I moved though, so you'd have to have short hair and wear long sleeves under it. It would probably be too heavy to wear out anywhere, and would be better for providing intense pressure at home during meltdowns and the like.
