People accusing you of putting on an act

Occasionally I've had somebody tell me that I'm just putting on an act, telling me to snap out of it. Less so now, since I've learned to curtail most manifestations of my Aspergers. You know what you should say to them if you ever get this flippant remark, and I've done so one before:

"Oh! Well then, where's my academy award???"

Hey, one cynical comment deserves another!!

If I am coughing on the train, and somebody told me to go take a sick day because he was bothered by my coughing,
I'd tell him that I have to make money--but if you don't want to see me, call me a cab and pay for it.

It has to do with people "putting on an act."

He thought I was putting on an act.
