Sorry, I'm not sure which category I should be putting this in.

On Personal Independence Payment forms there is a section where you can get points for being unable to undertake journeys alone.

I was wondering if anyone knew if you're able to take a plane, and go through the airport without a carer (but with help from the disabled assistance staff at the airport, who are not with you the whole time) do you still qualify to get points on this section of the PIP form?

If you need the assistance of the staff at the airport i would recommend very strongly to treat that as "Can't undertake a journey on your own" Treat Journey on your own" as Entirely unaided. No career, NO specialist assistance staff etc.Otherwise it would be used to deny you the payment.

It is a horrid process because you have to play down all your abilities, anything showing you Are able to do something can be used against you to deny you the payments you are entitled to.
