I know some people on the spectrum have prosopagnosia but at the opposite end of the face recognition there is super recognition. This is something I've just discovered I score really high at. Very surprised as I have a very bad memory. Here's an article and test. Post your results :) http://www.iflscience.com/brain/theres- ... right-now/

5/14 and the 5 were me recognizing a detail such as nose or eye shape and even then I wasnt sure because they could cut the nose and the eye shape could be facial expression.
I have prospagnosia.

Do the questions even have correct answers? Most of the time the guys in answer were not even similar to the one in original photo.

I got a 3 and I'm going to credit the correct answers to being lucky guesses.

10/14

i think i'm about average when it comes to recognizing faces. sometimes i recognize faces in unexpected situations, but sometimes i don't recognize people when i'm supposed to, and sometimes i "recognize" people who are actually someone else (mostly when i'm sleep-deprived)

"You scored 12 out of 14. "

It started out easy but got harder when they started switching from front to profile, and you had to figure out how the guy you only saw from the front would look from the side; yikes.

I'm very visual, and I do see memories as pictures and videos, so faces tend to stick in my mind, except I have one "blind spot" and that's when it comes to men with shaved heads or bald heads. I find it very hard to tell hairless men apart. So if the super-recognizer test had bald or shaved head men in it, I would have probably scored a 2! I seriously have trouble without hair framing a face.

11/14.

I wonder why these tests seem to use exclusively male pictures.

Names I'm terrible but I'm ok at this kind of test.

I only scored 7. I'm not a "super recognizer."

I don't tend to recognize people out of uniform if they are usually in uniform.

6 which is higher then I expected. 14 is not a large enough factor to rule out luck.
