Ocate Cliffs visit
In keeping with the continuing work on strengthening our offline presence, I recently returned from a nearly week long visit out to Ocate Cliffs, which is a pro-Neurodiversity physical location in northern New Mexico. I would direct interested readers to the website for a more detailed description of the location and it's available resources. The organizers are requesting submissions for a live-in site manager, as described in the above website, questions on that subject should be directed to the organizers.
Here is one of the original announcements here on WP of the location:

During the event, attendees worked on land preparation for the next stage in construction of the permanently inhabitable "staff house", improving camping facilities, maintaining existing trails, and discussing future outreach.
For those interested in attendance, please note that the location is 3 hours, in good traffic, from Albuquerque, NM, and roughly 45 minutes to an hour from the closest gas station. The use of cell phones depends on your particular carrier, and the trip up the road should not be taken without a well maintained vehicle with ground clearance. There may be encounters with wildlife native to the environment.
The existence of Ocate, and it's continued operation for what is now 3 calendar years speaks to the work of it's organizers, and that offline physical locations can be created and successfully maintained. I feel honored for having visited Ocate, and having the opportunity to meet some of our fellow pro-Neurodiversity activists.
