Apparently there might be nasal inhalers of this, although it can also be a by-product of entactogens etc... it could possibly tackle exactly what isn't tackled by the many other prescriptions usually presented to people with ASD.

I would never try this. Being in a false state of friendliness will just lead to being exploited and abused. I definitely don't wish to be friendly towards the people I encounter in the outside world. I'm quite content being prickly, it keeps me safe.

Oxytocin is not what it's made out to be. First, a lot of the claims about the effects of the hormone are due to confusing correlation with causation. Just because it's oxytocin is present during something doesn't mean it's causing that thing. Second, it's not as good as it's made out to be. It's a not a "love" hormone, it's a bonding hormone to the exclusion of others. It makes you feel more affection to some people, and more aggressive towards everyone else.
