So,I have my asssesment in ten days and I'm kinda trying to see if the ASD boot fits,so..

This is going to sound *really* f****d up,but I have eczema,I collect my own skin, and I eat it. Yes. There,I said it!

Am I screwed up,or is this an ASD symptom?

I knew a person on the spectrum that would chew on their pubic hair and another one that would eat their pimples.

No, your not weird. Yes, it CAN be a autism symptom. HOWEVER, what really matters is you aknowledge that this isnt socailly acceptable.

As long as it doesnt hurt your, you dont bother anyone with it, and it doesnt bother you, i dont see any reason to stop.

We all have these "weird things" about ourselfs. I cut myself made artwork in my own blood before, which is pretty weird.

There are a lot of comorbids within each diagnosis. While I amn't sure that Dermatophagia (or even Trichophagia) is a common autism-related comorbid, I am left wondering why wouldn't there be comorbidity? Both examples are diagnoses in their own right. Combined with an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis, you got yourself one or more comorbids. Personally, I believe that it wouldn't as strange as some would think. Wouldn't both examples be based in anxiety? Anxiety is a big comorbid among diagnosed autists. Thanks for inviting me to think about this idea!

Tom I eat the dandruff from my eyebrows, skin from my fingers as well as my fingernails, and occasionally my earwax. I'm not diagnosed either but now that I've started to tell my mom about everything I do not just the stuff that's visible she's starting to believe me. Nice to know others do this sort of stuff too and know it's weird, I'm so used to something along the lines of "If you know it's weird and can hide it in front of people then you can't be autistic!"
