Do you think AS or autism can cause concerns when traveling to or less likely, migrating to, a different country? I might like to travel to the UK someday. I don't think I can migrate at all, because of how dependent I am on my community for support right now. But the thought still comes to mind sometimes. I know that you need a work permit to move to the UK.

I have traveled internationally and had no problems.

Really you don't have to tell anyone you are AS unless you need to ask for an accommodation HOWEVER the laws for accommodation may be different in every country so be sure to look into them before you travel. :)

I don't travel much, maybe once or twice a year. Hope that helps.

I've traveled OS many times. I just do a LOT of research before I go. Even using Google street view to look around, that way there is a lot of familiar stuff as soon as you hit the ground. Travel will help you grow as a person and you will see the world through new eyes. Bring a friend/partner.

I do that too. And usually have a miniature version of the place I am visiting (like Burg Hohenzollern)to better orient myself.

Although travel can be enjoyable, it can also be a bit much. Strange surroundings, different languages, street vendors loudly Hawking their wares and the sound of a bustling metropolis all buzzing around you. Plan months ahead, so reality doesn't come crashing down so hard.
