The OP asked a question, that was my answer. I can be more specific... some of them smell like stale male cat pee.

Yeah, everything the OP said----except, I don't really have a problem with most of the soaps, in public bathrooms, unless it smells like Pine-Sol, or something.

The things I have the MOST problem with, are those auto-flush toilets, and those hand dryers----those things (hand dryers) are just MAD hosts of bacteria, saying (in a Vincent Price voice): "Come to meeeeee (evil laugh)----come to meeeee----I want eat your skin, off!!"

I would agree with the OP about toilets that flush automatically. They flush over and over again while I'm still sitting on them! So whenever I use such a toilet, I put toilet paper over the sensor so that it can't flush until I remove it. It's kinda silly that I should have to do that, though.

I avoid using public restrooms whenever possible. I only use them when I'm sick and think I might throw up or have diarrhea.

I don't really have sensory issues when it comes to public washrooms per say. I would like to see gender neutral washrooms in place of washrooms that shove the genders into stiff little boxes.

An unlimited amount of toilets.

I definitely agree with the automatic toilets and the hand dryers, they drive me crazy. Also, replacing the fluorescent lights with incandescent bulbs that don't make me want to rip my eyes out.

Make the walls to the stalls strong enough so drunks can't punch holes in them.

Make the locks to the toilets much stronger.

Unfortunately, it's either that or letting the toilet stay unflushed for hours when someone uses it and can't be bothered to flush it manually.

I would add better air fresheners and remove auto-flush toilets and also install quieter hand dryers. The noise from hand dryers bothers me.

I avoid public restrooms as much as I can, I always use the restroom before leaving the house, but I guess it sometimes is unavoidable.

All those public germs. Ugh. Keep em to yourself. Oh and the really loud universe-crushing auto flush devices. Why does it have to be so freaking loud?!

Oh, I didn't think of that one. Yeah. ^^

We could have an advertising campaign reminding people to flush the toilet. ^.^

Less light - the restrooms are too white for my eyes.
Hand dryers - they are just too ineffective. It takes ages ages to get hands dry and the sound makes me really impatient/uncomfortable. They can be there so other people can use them if they wish but offer paper towels as alternative please so I can just wipe my hands and leave!
Make all public restrooms use the same devices - I am sick of figuring out if I have to turn, touch, pull, tap, press or find a non-touch sensor when I try to wash my hands.
Make sure there is toilet paper in the stalls and soap by the sinks.
