This may be of interest to members in the state, and I hope at least one member will be able to attend and provide some feedback about his presentation.

The problem of bullying AS children has been highlighted today, in the most tragic way, after the setting on fire of the ten year old autistic boy in Texas, on life support and fighting for his life at present.

Perhaps no other topic needs such urgent action as this, at this time.

That's less than an hour away from me. If I had a car, I might consider going to it, but I probably won't be able to. Nice to know he's in my area, though.

Here's how to reduce bullying, teachers: When a kid comes crying to you, DO SOMETHING instead of blowing the kid off. Schools say they have this "zero-tolerance policy," but they never actually attempt to do anything to stop the bullying. This was the case with my schools, anyway.
