So do I or I'll engage in something else I'm obsessed with at the time.

I make sure that I get enough rest. I eat well. I make sure I am getting enough GABA (see GABA agonists on Wikipedia). I try to avoid contact with vexatious people, (not always fully possible, though getting better at it). I try to balance my need for rest and relaxation with demands people make. I stopped trying to please everyone. I talk to my most trusted friends when there are issues that are weighing on me. I spend time enjoying the natural world and cuddling up with my cat. I don't watch the news on tv when stressed, it's full of distressing images and coverage. I avoid substances like alcohol, and stay hydrated. I remind myself not to sweat the small stuff. Everything passes.

I color, read, or watch Markiplier and Jacksepticeye videos depending on my mood. I also try to cuddle with my rats but they're lazy b*st*rds who don't always want to be picked up. So I cuddle with plushes instead.

A few things...

Smoke pot (not the best idea for everyone but works amazing for certain people)

Excersise regularly and remain hydrated always... you can be dehydrated and not feel thirsty. Dehydration makes cranky come. No es bueno esta aqui.

I listen to subliminal self hypnosis things that happen to work amazingly well. And im not one to believe this type stuff easily...

They are made for specific issues like reducing anxiety. Its like 45 min long. Helps.

I take a long break from the people who are causing my stress and anxiety and get lost in my arts and crafts.

I go for a walk. Now that I'm back in school, I visit the campus gym after class to get some exercise and play badminton with students who are members of my school's badminton club.

I don't get stressed or anxious, as I've long since learned to avoid situations that could generate those feelings.

It depends on the situation, I guess, but not very well at all. I tend to suffer from emotional breakdowns when I'm too overwhelmed, which happens often enough to be problem. It's pretty troubling for people when they see an otherwise mostly normal (if slightly odd) adult in that sort of situation. I've considered being put on medication for it, but I'm honestly nervous as hell about the side effects that come with some of those and the stigma associated with taking the majority of them, and I'm not sure about how well they would work for an otherwise high functioning adult anyway.

Drink (stress/anxiety), but low tolerance means 1 beer is usually enough. :)
Also ASMR sounds (stress) are pretty relaxing.
Bounce knee (anxiety) or single hand clapping.

The things that are helping me are:

Regular exercise. Massively. I need it about every 16/48 hours so I've started cycling to uni.
Drink a little of chamomile + nettle tea a tea. The chamomile helped me a lot but I'd need about 6 bags worth before it would have an effect. You can buy it in loose form which might be more cost effective.
I've increased my magnesium intake. They say this is the anxiety buster. You can also take Epsom Salt baths which a lot of people really recommend.
I make sure my B12/folate/D3 levels are healthy.
I have not tried 5-Htp or GABA yet, but I am waiting for them, having read 'the Mood Cure' - I extremely recommend this book.
Physical contact and deep pressure really helps me, so when I have some money I think I'll get regular massage/Shiatsu.
Get sunshine every day.
Learnign how to understand people and find ways to communicate misunderstanding/needs - conflict of interests/miscommunication/misunderstanding can create stress, learning ways to resolve this can help reduce stress between people.

Good luck!
