Documentary/film experience for movie on autism in adults

I have no experience in filmmaking. I own no equipment. But I can write and would like to find some people who are interested in a long term documentary project that seeks to highlight the "lost generation" of autistic adults who as late as the 1990s still went undiagnosed due to the legacy of Leo Kanner's narrow description of autism that held sway for decades. A project that benefits from Neurotribes' excellent history of autism and that focuses on the problem of late-diagnosed adults, those of us who cannot get diagnosed for financial reasons and how difficult it is to be diagnosed as an adult, those of us who are autistic parents of autistic children, and anything else that pertains to the problems adults face today as autistic. If you are interested and have film experience, or know someone with film experience, or know someone who is willing to provide funding for such a project, please share.

...Hello ! I am planning to start film courses soon , as I have long wanted to be a filmaker . (Plus , I had some reallyreallyreally teeny tiny film experience when I was a teenager .)
