Hello. So a few months ago, I did the ADOS and was found to meet the cut-off, plus had a bunch of other features and diagnosed with ASD - level 1. But I really don't understand how the ADOS scoring system works. I looked it up online, and originally, I just found people saying it was 7-12 points for ASD and 12+ points of "classic" autism, and this confused me since they removed these diagnoses. But then I see that if you are above 10 points, then you meet the cut-off criteria for ASD. But then I've also read that there are sub-scores for the ADOS about social interaction and communication, which are both used for the score, and then others, like imagination and stereotypic movements or something like that. I mainly read this information off this site: http://www.autism-pdd.net/testdump/test17141.htm
Does anyone have information about the scoring system? I am just interested because of my special interest (mental illness/neurodevelopmental disorders). Thanks.
