I have a good reason to be depressed and that's cause my life is boring and I have literally no friends. I see everyone on my FB list posting pictures of themselves having a good time. I sometimes wonder if it's worse to have Aspergers or just be a little ret*d and still have friends b/c even people who are not as bright as me seem to have it better socially. :|

The only time I'm happy is once in a while and I don't even know if it's true happiness because I'm on medications. 2 antidepressants at this time and lithium.

@BrainPower101 - At least you can rest knowing that there are lots of BrainPower101's on WP, not just you. So you've got company, like me, for instance.

Step 1 on the road to happiness : delete your Facebook account. Facebook is the posterchild for misery imo.
Step 2 : Find some way to not worry about what other people do and or do not have. You are you and they are not you and so what they are or are not doing or having just isn't relevant to you.
Step 3 : Work out specifically what you want. Make a list of things you want.
Step 4 : Work out if what you want is plausible. If you want impossible things then ignore those and find possible things.
Step 5: Work out how to do/get what you want. By knowing specific things you can make actual plans on how to get what you want. Break things into small parts. Therapists and the internet can probably give you advice on how to do anything which is possible.
Step 6: Get the thing you want.
