I have a lot of medical issues.

I can't get out what I'm trying to say.

I'm in sensory overload. I was in Chicago when the Cubs won. I managed to lay low and I arrived home last night. But, NOW I'm in overload and wanting to hide from my family (who I've been away from).

I'm frustrated.

I was in Chicago to see a specialist for one of my funky illnesses. My local doctors can't help me. Chicago isn't close. And, I have to go back for a week of tests, maybe even surgery to repair my esophagus.

It's also almost one year from when I had a stroke (Nov.11, 2015). So, maybe a lot of that is stressing me out. I am happy...I survived. A lot of things actually.

You have been through an awful lot so I could definitely understand feeling overwhelmed. I don't even know how you are coping as well as you are in your situation. Regardless I have a lot of respect for you and am impressed. I hope this week goes easier for you. You deserve a break in life.

Thanks, but it's not next week. I think it'll be a few weeks. They will call me when they've got everything bundled well for me into a week and tell me when.

We will all be thinking of you when you undergo your procedures.

Thank you.

More than anything right now, I'm just always on the brink of sensory overload and I'm having such a hard time with that.

It'll be one year this Friday when I had a stroke. I keep thinking about that. ...how I couldn't tell it was a stroke or if it was just a shutdown. (It was a stroke.) I'm a little sensitive right now.

What was the worst thing about it? The amount of people , the noise or something else?

LOL....you can't blame them.

Their team won the World Series for the first time in 108 years.

I know...it was just the noise. Fireworks all night, etc.

It was okay. I'm glad I was there, even though it was loud. I laid low. I went to a library, and to my doctor, etc. I wasn't out celebrating. :P

I think I'm emotional about it being close to Nov. 11th.

Honestly, I'm not totally sure what's bugging me. I would like to crawl into a cave for a few weeks...
