I usually post in the parent forum, but I wanted to post here hoping to get more varied input. I hope that is OK.
My son is 11, and is starting to sprout a mustache. Our town is small and the local populace has a 1950's notion of grooming (which if I don't share). The local school district has a ban on facial hair but I don't have to deal with it b/c I home school him. I don't really care if he stands out and thus far neither does he, but at some point, I expect I will have to deal with this in some regard.
My husband is kind of Aspie-light but never had a ton of sensory issues so he doesn't have specific recommendations. If my son cuts himself, he will freak out and never want to shave again. If the razor is too noisy, he won't be able to tolerate it. I don't care if the razor gives him a super close shave or anything; really just that it will do a fairly decent job, makes a minimal amount of noise and can withstand what I assume will be be frequent dropping on tile surfaces.
Anyone have any specific brand/model suggestions?
