Store discriminated against austistic employee and me...
I worked at a small store 9 years ago (it's a national brand). First of all, there was an autistic cashier... and the manager treated him like garbage. Telling me to treat him however I wanted because he had no feelings, etc...
Then I started to see characteristics in me not as strong, but similar.
Anyway ended up with a severe mental breakdown and in the hospital because of it.
Fastforward 9 years. I apply to several positions in local stores of the same chain. I get a phone call this morning which said "I was going to interview you, but it says here your last manager has you marked down as in eligable for rehire"
I took this up with corporate, i won't find out until next week, but seriously what do I do if this is the reason why other stores won't hire me?
And in the past what could I have done should the blaintant autistic discrimination?

There's nothing you can do about working for that chain. Apply to jobs in other companies, instead. For fear of lawsuits, most prior employers will say nothing about you other than verifying that you worked there when you said you did.
That's an entirely separate question, and I'm sure there are people here much better qualified than I to answer it, so I'll defer.
