I have reaches post #1776. It's the year America got its independence. Also, I found out that the company I'm working at is going to hire me permanently. As a result, I'll be able to afford my own apartment, and get MY independence. I can't wait. The day I move out will be the greatest, most uplifting moment of my life. It should take place within a month or so. I'll keep you all posted.

Hey, sounds good. Moving out rules. I'm currently saving up to reach that big moment (again) sometime soon. What do you do for a living? I'm an exterminator.

we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men (people) are created equal. Even those men who are so weird that their internet avatars say "illinois central", whatever that means.

Congrats aspie1 on the job.

Congratulations on your job. There is nothing like independence and having command and responsibility
for your destiny. Rough at times but worth it! :!: :)

"Illinois Central" is a railroad that runs from Chicago to New Orleans. The name comes from the fact that it was founded in southern Illinois. My avatar is a logo that the company used at one point in its history (I don't like the modern logo as much as this one).

Shouldn't that be 1783 or 4? With either the signing or ratification of
the Treaty of Paris.
