Hi all,

I'm an autistic college student majoring in psychology. In an effort to assist meteorologists at the U.S. National Weather Service in the design of a new program to better communicate weather, and weather safety, information to autistics, I'm conducting a study to examine, on a broad level, what autistics know about weather.

I would appreciate your participation in a brief survey I've constructed. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous, so I won't have any idea who anyone taking the survey is. Participation is open to anyone 18 and up. People without an autism diagnosis are welcome to participate, but I'm especially looking for responses from those who are officially diagnosed. Also, though the survey is U.S.-based, anyone around the world may participate.

Thanks for your time and if you have any questions, please let me know.

I must point out that Alex doesn't generally encourage these kinds of surveys but since this doesn't seem to be a scam or promoting anything for ad purposes it shouldn't be a problem.

Looks like it could be interesting...we do have some members with a special interest in weather / meteorology.

Thanks for the heads-up; I didn't realize. Yes, this is a purely academic study, with the goal of improving community services for autistics. I'm having a really tough time getting responses on other autism-focused forums, and hoped posting here would help that.
