I was wondering if some aspie's hate everyone, especially if they don't know them.
or is it the other way round. hate them after they meet them...lol

or hate them before you know them
like them when you get to know them
but then hate them again when they let you down
and lie to you, and slander you or abuse and use you
and steal from you and let you down......

I am not sure if i hate everyone
although i do find people hard
and too unstable (constantly changing and hard to quantify)

perhaps i would be better off hanging out with animals
well at least the ones that dont bite

In general I would say I dislike everyone… BUT, I try and give them a chance. I just usually end up hating them, rarely will they move from dislike to tolerate.

I can dislike certain people for various reasons (esp. dishonesty), but I can't maintain it for very long. I hope to get along with everyone and if they must make that difficult, I prefer to avoid them.

I don't hate people unless they've done something really bad to me. I think some people generalize and blame all for the actions of a few, or just aren't very understanding. If everyone is an enemy then you still won't make any connections.

So, basically misanthropy?

Yeah, I'd qualify for that one, definitely.

as I grow older, I find it harder to muster energy needed for hate, and find it easier to just relegate certain folks to the category of not wanting to pee on them if they were on fire.

i don't truly hate anybody, because i don't believe in free will, but i am definitely not fond of a lot of people, at least when i used to be around them i wasn't.
the internet has a lot of despicable acting individuals too.
with some people i end up actually 'hating' myself, because i want to be more friendly and social with them but i can't.

as I grow older I find that I am gradually learning that I dislike certain people's behaviors more than I dislike them, but that it is all too easy to conflate the two things.

To me, the 7.5 billion homo sapiens walking the earth are no different from cattle walking the feed lot. I neither like or dislike any of them, until they start actions they are not supposed to be doing. Cattle generally do what they are supposed to do. :P

One of the most bigoted, hate-filled person I've ever met is likely on the spectrum. I suspect it's due to the black and white thinking ("white people are good, black people are bad", and so on...). I try to avoid them because they make me angry and depressed.

Wouldn't say I hate anyone. There are some people out there who make me cringe. People who are full of themselves and look down on others that they consider "inferior" to themselves are particularly challenging people to deal with. But I still find a way to tolerate them. I can have a right good argument with people that I have disagreements on over different subjects, but no matter how heated the arguments get, I never actually find myself hating them because of their differing views.

That's possible.

I don't hate or dislike people per se -- but I dislike humans(or rather, what defines a 'human' anyway, and being ONE), but not enough to hate it.

I would say no. There were definitely some people I was scared of and tried to avoid, but those people are long gone.

I -want- to like people, but they make it so hard.
