When I am under stress or a lot or pressure i "become more autistic", i need more schedules, have difficulty communicating, stim more, need more breaks, have difficulties concentrating etc.
Do other autistic people experience this too? I am currently feeling like this because i have a lot going on in school and just my life in general.
I just feel super exhausted but at the same time struggle to "just do" what i am supposed to.
Luckily i only have 4 days od school this week, so it is a bit shorter than normal.
I am really looking forward to christmas break, just struggling a lot recently, suppose ill feel better soon, after some of the stress goes away.

When I'm tired, emotionally drained, or otherwise, my stimming, social flubs, and sensitivities to light and sound are amplified greatly.

Yes.

Even before I knew what it was, all the "stuff" happened more when under stress, still does.

I can definitely feel the need for more of my coping mechanisms under stress as the exoskeleton of normality starts to crack under increased pressure.

Yes, and I'm afraid sooner or later I'll have to explain it to a supervisor at work.
