Sorry if that question is a bit harsh. For example: Me and 20 neurotypicals sit in a room and watch a very weird movie. Nothing good or bad, just weird. My reaction will be WAY different than the norm, almost completely unique to my personality, and I feel like this is either a good thing or a bad thing, what would you say?
For anyone who doesn't understand, another example is my view of foreign cultures. Most people are disgusted or in culture shock, but I view them as manifestations of my own view of the world from a different location, also I don't really literally think that, I just enjoy them (their music and art and that) especially the good ones even though most people find them weird.
Let them be disgusted/shocked, because you cannot control their level of acceptance of difference. Just remember to coexist.
You can enjoy anything you want just because you are you. Who cares what they think. Cultural Appropriation is on those people's minds. So in reality, there is one overlapping culture with no name/label that reaches over other cultures. I believe we have not realized that cultures are only separate paradigms created by larges masses of people. We have differences, just not to the point that a culture defines an individual and said individuals. It will never define one's way of thinking the same way cultures/cults fantasize.
In fact, I personally think calling our said peers "NEUROTYPICALS" is awfully similar to cultural appropriation, having to constantly call them that.
