Just curious to know your opinion of artificially intelligent chatbots. Is it something you would use or be interested in using to have something to talk with when you're lonely?

I wouldn't use one for myself but it could come in handy for kids if the AI was a bit more intelligent. Like an early learning tool with a cute voice or something.

I used one once for a school assignment and it was really rude to me.

Also, they would need to be more intelligent for sure, I asked it about Brexit and it told me it hadn't heard about it because it lives in the US.

It seems creepy to me, so no.

Depends on what you want me to use it for.

I was thinking in the sense of when it's difficult to make real life friends, maybe one day the solution can be artificial friendships. Right now they may not be fulfilling, but one day I don't see why they couldn't be. Especially if their directive was to be your custom friend that would like what you like or have similar interests and such. In the end our biological makeup is inferior, so one day we will be on the other side of the coin when it comes to reasoning and understanding.
