I made an autism information card (well cards, but they are all the same), and i am planning on selling it online to others.
I'd also like your opinions on the cards themselves.

This is the card:

Would anyone here be interested in these cards (in theory)?

Would an individual show it in a stressful situation?

It should be used:
-in a stressful situation
-when you need help
-if you are lost
-cannot speak
-if you need to inform someone you're autistic (for example to a teacher)

I think what the previous poster is asking is - would the autistic person be aware enough to show another person the card in an emergency?

Or is this something you carry in your wallet?

Would the average person know what "stim" means?

I carry it in my wallet.
I think any autistic person would be able to use this card, even when stressed, having a shutdown etc.

I put it in italics, figure if they dont know they can google it or ask (plus it says fidget or stim, so many would be able to understand it through context)

you dont know when you're having a meltdown.
Well in that case it wouldnt work for you when you're having a meltdown, although the card can also be used to communicate that you're autistic to people you know (such as teachers, police officers). I have found it helpful at airports to show it to the security officers or other staff if you need help or they think you are suspicious.

I have a card like that which I keep in my wallet. It's the same size as my driver's license and folds in half, so it actually has four sides. The first explains that I have autism and what some of my symptoms might be, the second explains how the person I'm showing it to can help me, the third has my parents' phone numbers as emergency contacts, and the fourth just has a small descriptive paragraph about the basics of what autism means.

Other people sell similar cards online, so I'm sure people would have an interest in yours. I like the yes/no feature, that's unique and I haven't seen it before. To be honest though, I just looked at the cards being sold online as a reference, then created my own for free.

This isn't a bad idea. I would probably make my own too, instead of buying one, so it can be personalized. Plus I like making thing and don't like buying things.
