Are you drawn to oddball or misfit people more so than Neurotypicals whether out of curiousity or simply trying to have a social relationship with them?

Yes. Because I like them more.

Yes, but that's probably because they are more accepting and tend to share my (somewhat nerdy) interests.

I've definitely been attracted (both socially and sexually) to odd women in the past, mostly out of curiosity.

I find them interesting and I guess they are more easy to talk to. :)

The oddballs come to me. I just sit and wait. My attempts at actively searching for friendship usually fail. Now that I think about it, most of my friends in high school displayed Asperger's symptoms. I had an otaku, an ancient Rome lover, and a mythological creature lover, and all three of them had a noticeable lack of social skills.

I'm more drawn to those people, because I like people who are not afraid to be themselves.

I have two friends that are Bipolar and one friend that isn't diagnosed with anything but is sure she has something. These people are more accepting of my differences and I do talk to one friend a lot about certain symptoms.
I've found that when I've tried to get in with a group of people the ones that have been less like everyone else I've gotten along with more. I even remember them more.
And I love eccentric rock stars with their own personal demons. But it's not because they are rock stars but because of who they are as people.

Definately for me

I find that people who generally share my interests (art, music) do not neccessarily share my reasoning. They display their talents like fashion accessories to secure acclaim and girlfriends for themselves. They're clothes are too clean and I am not the right type of weird for them. These people are too 'sensitive' to flat out reject me but I understand the awkward space that exists between us and why I can not cross it. my closest friends are a ragtag bunch of neurotics and quasi-sociopaths who steal my cigarettes and frighten me a little bit. They're shifty nature renders them almost trustworthy

Odd friends also come to me
and I LOVE ancient Rome too, especially the time periods involving Gaul and Brittania.

And yes I tend to become friends with odd/eccentric people because either they are somewhat introverted, philosophical like me or I like that they don't conform to social norms and do their own thing....like how AS's do. i also feel safer with them beacuse they can't say im weird and so we see eye to eye

Oh, definitely. Maybe because I figure they won't be so disappointed in me when they begin to realize that I'm strange.

I have more weird than NT friends. I also have the ability to attract weird people and crazy homeless people.

I find that I just don't really understand people who live in the mainstream. Their concerns seem so mundane and uninteresting. I have nothing to say to them. My few friends are all oddballs, thought I didn't specifically seek them out to be odd, they are just the ones who stuck around.

Yes. I think it's just common for people who feel like oddballs or misfits (which a lot of those on the spectrum do), to be drawn to others who are "offbeat" in some way. I'm certainly drawn to non-"normal" people much moreso than "normal" people.

Of course, we're misfit people ourselves after all.
