Hi, LauraPaxton:
I noticed that there were some people who doubted the value of
occupational therapy for Autism Spectrum Disorders; on the other
hand, their remarks were in an American context (certainly) and
away from a university-teaching hospital setting (probably). I live and work
in Canada, and the working methods of occupational therapy here may
be very different from those in the United States. I've been
doing voluntary/paid work in an occupational therapy-related environment,
however, and that again may be very different from the occupational
therapy you get in a conventional hospital. In other words, hmmmmm....

My new video is about how occupational therapy can help adults with autism or mental illness. It is based on research I have done and my own experience with six months of occupational therapy. It helped immensely!
