I am still to discern the reason why I spend a large proportion of my free time running around in circles whilst listening to music and eating bland carbohydrates such as bread sticks and rice cakes.

I know that sound is a sensory abnormality of my mine as I struggle to concentrate because there are always cacophonies occuring in my world. I find it difficult to block out external sounds and conversations from relatively far away seem to be amplified in my head. However, I suspect I may be understimulated in other respects because of the aforementioned activity I frequently engage in.

Is my autism severe because I run around in circles a lot? From an outsider's perspective it must appear utterly bizarre and pointless, but for some reason it seems to help me.
