What is your favourite product designed specifically for aspies/autistics? Mine is a toss-up between my industrial-grade headphones (not technically just for autistics, but used for autism-based reasons by many of us) and my weighted blanket. I suspect my new favourite will be my deep pressure vest when it arrives. I'm also a big fan of hand-held fidgets, especially tangles and squishy toys.

I've always wanted a weighted blanket. I get really snug before I get pumped with rads for teeth x-rays. :P
I've considered noise cancelling headphones too, but I don't have any thing.

I would definitely recommend the weighted blanket, it's diffused a lot of situations for me which would have led to meltdowns otherwise. They can be expensive, but even a weighted lap pad made out of polyfil pellets and a pillow case can be a good start.

I would also highly endorse the headphones. Mine were cheap, like $14 on amazon. I use them all the time, when I vaccum, in restaurants, at musical performances, crowded events, etc. They've kept me sane so many times. The trick is to not be embarrassed or feel awkward about them, because they're not exactly subtle (mine especially; they're bright yellow!)

This is all still fairly new to me so I don't have much meant for Autistics. I did recently buy a Tangle and I really like it, EXCEPT for the feel of the "rubberized" coating. That one little feature is ruining it for me. I wonder if they make one that's just solid plastic?

I just ordered a couple items from stimtastic. I have always used ear plugs, so much so that I could be home alone and still need them to sleep. Also my cards that I like for my hands.

I know it's not directly an autism product but it so is anyway:

Technics Lego =]

Me and my daughter (both Aspie) walk around with little devices and gadgets in our pockets made from Lego to fiddle/fidget with.

Im guessing you talking about noise cancelling headphones ? Are you using them to listen to music or to just cancel external noise?

I have an MP3 player that goes to stupid levels of volume. I use it whenever I find myself in situations where there's a good chance that somebody might come up to me and try and engage in conversation.

Not sure if these count as "autism products", but all of the suppliments I take help aid me throughout the day. It makes everything just a little more tolerable.

Yep, they have a whole bunch that are just plain plastic in a variety of colours:
https://www.amazon.com/Set-Tangle-Jr-Or ... rds=tangle

https://www.amazon.com/Tangle-Artist-Co ... rds=tangle

https://www.amazon.com/Tangle-Creations ... iny+tangle

My favourite tangles are the fuzzy and hairy ones. The fuzzy one has a soft, fine velvety texture to it, but it rubs off pretty easily. My next tangle is going to be the chrome one because I really love shiny things.

I have a pair of noise cancelling headphones for the office and a really expensive set of earbuds for everywhere else.

I can not stand the weighted blankets. I even have to sleep with a super light sleeping bag at night.

I've never had one, but I would say maybe those squishy squeeze balls. They aren't just for autism, but I think they would work well if you are under stress.

My favorite de-stress item of all, however, has to be...CAT VIDEOS! Watching videos of my favorite tennis players helps, too.

They're not electronic and they don't have an active "noise cancelling" feature, they're just headphones like those used by construction workers:

I just ordered a chewy necklace from stimtastic a couple of days ago, as I have an unfortunate tendency to shred all my pens at work.

Bedroom door, to shut out the confusion of the world!

Would love double-paned windows.

Earplugs, or listening to 'fan white noise' on YouTube.

Computer settings that make colors more muted, and stop things from blinking.
