Testing process
Hey so I am going to be tested for Aspergers, ADHD and Bipolar this thursday. My counsellor who is not a doctor/nurse and cannot medically test me is referring me to a doctor to get checked. I wonder what do they test you on, do they ask questions or make you do things?
ps: i am 19.

You can probably expect to fill out a bunch of questionnaires that ask you questions regarding...
«Have you ever been depressed?» and «Do you hear voices?» in varying variations.
The questions tend to repeat in various configurations. «Do you feel depressed when...[X] ?» and then also...

«Do you start hearing voices when feeling depressed ?» and «Does it depress you when you hear voices ?»
Yup. That seems to be what passes for psychological «science» but it also depends on the evaluator.
Some of them simply meet with you for a few minutes, ask you a few questions, then give you a diagnosis.
When I was «diagnosed» it was from a «team» that included seven apprentices to the head-doctor(ette).

Yes, tons of questionnaire stuff and I remember a test where I had to tell a story by arranging pictures in order. I was verbally read a sequence of numbers and asked to repeat back as many as I could remember.
Also Rorschach (ink blot) cards made an appearance, and an examiner talked to me as part of the diagnosis.
It was quite some time ago now, so I don't remember everything. In my case the testing wasn't focused on anything in particular, but aspergers with a side of anxiety and depression was the outcome. Part of the testing will likely involve questions not dissimilar from what you've come across if you've taken the online AQ test(s).

And they may well ask some questions of your parent/guardian about your younger years also if they're available.
