Autistic Adults in Positions of Power - Now recruiting!
I am now recruiting for a new study called Autistic Adults in Positions of Power.
To qualify for participation, one must be 18 years old or older, identify as being on the autism spectrum (formal diagnosis is not required), and be a person who is currently or formerly in leadership, power, or authority over people or non-human systems.
If you are interested and are not sure if you qualify, please shoot me a PM and ask me.
I am a neurotypical sociologist. A cultural anthropologist is overseeing this project. We are both working a new field called the sociology of autism/the anthropology of autism. Our method is to listen to the experiences of autistic participants with an open mind and not to make assumptions or place values based on prior scientific findings.
You may contact me here, or click on the link in my signature. I have a completely anonymous procedure for people who need increased identity protection.
Thank you for reading!

Thank you, AspieUtah! I can't tell you how strongly I feel about this hidden population! Acknowledging and listening to people on the spectrum who are in leadership and power positions could help so many, including those people themselves!
I'm shamelessly bumping my own topic.
I just received a couple of interviews with the initial questions completed (under 20 questions) and...wow.
If you are in a leadership position, please consider taking part in this. I think this could be really important. I have a anonymous procedure available on my wordpress (link in signature) for people who need increased identity protection).
