When you pursue a new career or are looking to gain new qualifications. How do you keep yourself motivated to ensure you get to where you want to be? :(

I struggle big time with motivation and as soon as my interest in whatever i'm doing fades away, I struggle to stick with it. I feel like i'm incapable of getting anywhere in life.

I'm not motivated by money at all. I have a habit of squandering what little money I do have, because having it makes me feel uncomfortable for some odd reason.

I know a lot of people who stay motivated by planning out long term goals and breaking them down into chunks to hell them stay on track, but my organizational and planning skills are dreadful.

I have been on the dole , worked minimum wage jobs and had digustingly well paid jobs but never felt that money was what I needed ( except as a young teen ) , cant say I ever felt uncomfortable having money , I would like more but don't have the tools in the box to achieve this , in fact I don't have the tools to achieve much at the moment but that could be my depression talking .

Yeah , my organisational skills are not very good. However my planning skills seem to be ok , but keeping to those plans , thats a different story.
