Why you say that to me i think your very straightforward Aspies.

I have asperger's but think differently all of you but i dont like social interaction thats why i get uncomfortable i end up talk about self and end up getting confused and talking negative to other it makes makes me frustrated uncomfortable depends on the person like you they think im looking for attention but im only curious about it they dont understand me if i dont understand them i tried to do my best my brain shuts off itself sometimes during conversation i just dont want to listen what they saying i bet you dont understand me and dont like me 8O

I don't think you're trolling. I also do the same thing as you, I do things because I want to see how people react and they assume I'm doing it to troll. It's also normal to talk about ourselves because we don't often notice when other people become tired or irritated when we do. Additionally, Paranoia is fairly common when we live our whole lives not knowing what's going on around us. This causes problems for both parties.

I personally think everything you've said is normal and we all feel like this at some points. Just be sure to listen to any criticisms, judge if they're logical or not, and if not then just disregard them. That's what I do at least.

Don't worry about this, we know you are not trolling. It seems as if you are acutely aware that you need more connection with others in your life, and I think that's what you need the most right now. Maybe other members here could help you brainstorm options to achieve this number one goal, and support options which might also help. It's a good goal, and will be good for you. You know Berabara it's a learning curve, trial and error, for all of us, to achieve these new connections, and Wrong Planet is here to support you and others in their quest to achieve these. Also, I think you must learn to talk kindly to yourself, instead of beating yourself up as you tend to do.

I would like to see this year as a year of big and positive changes for you, as you move out and away from this painful state of distress. Let's see what Wrong Planeteers can suggest.

For what it's worth I also don't think your trolling. :)

Berabara, have you ever had a companion who could act as an intermediary alongside you, to help the communication run more smoothly to and from other people? It sounds to me as if you might feel less anxious and more comfortable is you weren't alone in these situations. I think you need a plan and support to make progress, with expert input if possible. I think you have been very brave facing this alone;but you deserve understanding and support. The rest of us need it too - we all do.

I also wonder whether Tony Attwood could provide some helpful links or contacts. I have his email, so if you wanted to pursue that option, it might add something useful?

You may already know about Minds and Hearts, though if not, here is their website. You can ask questions online, and check out upcoming events. http://www.mindsandhearts.net/

PS Does anyone on WP have experience of their services and initiatives? If so, could you perhaps provide some feedback for the OP? Were there any really helpful people there who might be good contacts for him if he decides to get in touch?

OP, maybe you check out the Facebook page of theirs, and see what you think of it?

Berabara, could you tell us more about how you manage communications with others, both person to person interactions and online? And what are the things that people need to be aware of that make it easier for you? I don't know much about this and maybe others don't either. It would be good to learn more from you.
