my self awareness is weird

it took me until I was 18 to figure out hold on, I never kiss a girl, never had a real friend etc. but if I would be self aware of the smallest non-important things

Not sure. Based on what some people tell me, I don't think it's very good. However, to be able to recognise that, I think my self-awareness is growing.

Lack of self awareness is common in autism regarding social issues and understanding how others perceive you.

Acute awareness of oneself as far as how you're feeling, and sensory input etc is also common in autism.

It's like not having enough of one kind and too much of the other kind.

I'm probably TOO self-aware for my own good.

I have a tendency to become overly introspective, too much into myself.

I have high self-awareness. I basically know what I'm doing, and I generally know what's socially acceptable and what's not. Sometimes I do or say something weird or rude or whatever, but 9 times out of 10 I know that I'm doing it and I know it's socially unacceptable but my impatience, hyperactivity and impulsivity is sometimes hard to control at the time, and it makes me break social rules.

I'm too self aware, that's why I developed social anxiety.
