Do you agree with me that the majority of bouncers/doorman have aspergers/autism and were bullied in school?

Nice theory.

Wouldn't be surprised.

Autistics aren't the only group of people that get bullied.

I would doubt that most are autistic since they have to rely on reading body language well and that is a lot of stimuli that you have to ignore. I wouldn't be surprised if a large number of them had been bullied.

Every bouncer I have ever had a run in with had obvious issues , wouldn't of put it down to autism though.

I've never quizzed a bouncer on their sexuality so couldn't say , I would say a large percentage of male bouncers had issues with their masculinity though. Obviously I am talking about 25 years ago when I used to go out. Today bouncers appear to be more regulated and you need an SIA Licence in the UK ( you mental health is checked )

British doormen are absolute bastards usually. There's only 2 nice ones I know of and that's saying a lot since I go out around town a hell of a lot.

I couldn't be a bouncer if my life depended on it. I'm too wimpy, wouldn't say boo to a goose, and too lenient. I'd just get eaten up for dinner. I always blamed that on having AS. Maybe I'm just a wimp, AS or not.
