How many of you bed wet after the age of 4-5? If so how long did it last and was it something you did whether you slept at home or not?
I think I was fairly average re the time I took to get dry by day and night. However when I went to prep school just after my 8th birthday I started to wet the bed again. This happened almost every day at school for the next 3 years.
Fortunately by the time I went to public school it had stopped,
or my life there would have been worse than it was.
I also wet my underwear from time to time.
At home no bed or underwear wetting occurred.

I think the bed wetting may have occurred at prep school rather than home because the latter was an alien environment, and might have been due to underlying anxiety/stress.

I've been told up until the age of about 7 I would often come home from school with a brown paper bag containing my wet underwear.
I was also told this was why I repeated 1st grade.

My daughter used to wet the bed at home and at sleepovers until she was about 8.

My aspie son and my nt son didn't have a problem.

I wonder if this is a common problem.

I literally haven't wet the bed since I was 2 years old. I was easy to potty train, and then I was dry every night and didn't need a nappy or pull-ups or anything.

I wet the bed until I was 14. I think it was stress. It didn't stop until my parents pulled me out to home-school me and when my brother finally moved out and took his kid with him. My parents would shame me for bed-wetting as if I was doing it on purpose and tried to force me to wear protective undergarments that looked and felt just like diapers. I would just take them off when they weren't looking. My mom got mad at me for having to wear them and would tell me that I had to stop soon because I was getting too big for diapers. I would have LOVED to have been able to stop but I couldn't.

I also had daytime accidents because I wasn't allowed to use the toilet when I needed to at school. I was forced to hold it and told it was because I drank too much water. By the time the teacher realized I wasn't faking it and she did finally let me go to the bathroom, I had either wet myself or my body had reabsorbed the urine or something. I had UTI's all the time as a kid and was always always known as the kid who wet them-self in the first grade, second grade and third grade. Apparently refusing to let a child use the restroom is now considered child abuse.

That was bad that your mom didn't understand, sorry that happened to you.

My mom didn't and doesn't understand a LOT of things, even if it is perfectly explained to her.

Parents should listen to their kids. I was lucky that my mom understood me, but some stuff she didn't understand.

I was a bed wetter regularly until I was 10 and a half. It made no difference if I was home or not, as I was almost always home but it happened both there and when we went on vacation.
I had half a year when I didn't, and then it happened one last time when I was 11 and we were on vacation. Not sure if that made a difference that time.
