East Bay aspies?

Hi. i'm new to asperger's (never met another in person), and live in oakland, ca. Is there anyone in/near the oakland/berkeley/san leandro area interested in meeting locally. One day i will get to an aascend and/or autastics meeting, but it would be nice to meet other people in the east bay.

if anyone is interested, i was thinking about starting a forum on my website to meet local aspies and organize local meetups for coffee or games or something. If anyone would be interested in something like that, please let me know
