This is my biggest pet peeve in the world is people touching or poking me. I freaking hate it. It get's on my nerves. And in my English there's a kid always touching and poking me multiple times everyday and I hate it. I look back at him and tell him too stop and he knows I hate it but does it anyway. But he says that he didn't do it. It was this kid. I'm not saying his name for privacy reasons I guess. But I hate it and now that's a common autistic trait and wanna know if any of you guys have this same problem too with people touching and poking you.

Stepping on a slug without your shoes on :(

Sorry , didn't read the question properly  I am OK with touching , if poking cause a tickling sensastion then I hate it , I hate being tickled - it's torture

Which is worse ? the actual sensation of being touched or poked or being teased

It tickles me when people poke me, so I startle. I hate being tickled. In fact, my parents sometimes took advantage of that fact and tickled me when I wouldn't give them something in my hand that they asked for. Just like how some parents spank their child for not listening.

Right now, though, seeing people flip water bottles is a bigger pet peeve.

I don't think anybody likes being poked, nor touched in an annoying way.

Those kids are immature. When I went up a level in school, I thought they'd be gone, but not at all. Here's a story that can help.

I was sitting in study. The door was open. Some kids outside were making ruckus. The teacher walked out of the room for a brief moment and shooed them away. He didn't formally punish them or anything like that.

He simply said, "I would give them a punishment, but being stupid is their punishment."

I know people change, but those were his words, not mine.

It doesn't tickle me. I just don't like the feeling of it. It feels bad and weird and its my space and my space only. And yes they are immature because we're freaking seniors in high school. But yet they still do that too me.

People who don't respect other people's space--physically (touching, bumping, blocking the path), with noise (loud talking, electronic devices), with smell (stinky food, perfume, smoking). I suppose this fits right in with AS sensory hypersensitivity.

How about saying "QUIT TOUCHING ME!" real loud each time. The teacher will get sick of that pretty quick and probably have you or him change desks.

You can even do it in a kind of sarcastic tone, so it doesn't sound like you're whining. Just that you think he's an idiot. Embarrass him.

What's funny is I had a teacher who did stuff like that. And this was at a school for autism even. I finally shouted F**k Off! That did the trick. He was totally mortified. Especially since I'm mainly nonverbal.

Actually my English class doesn't have assigned seats. But we kinda of have unofficial seats that we sit at everyday. But it's not assigned. But where I seat I try to seat by my friends that are in the class with me. But they seat near them too. But I don't have to seat there but my friends are near me across the row where I sit in there.

I don't particularly enjoy contact with others, either. My ex made that abundantly clear! I can deal with the occasional hug, always from a family member these days, but they're expected so I have warning.
Previously I've kept extremely long hair. I kept it in a plait but it still reached down my waist, but anyway; I would often have total strangers randomly approach me from behind in public and touch my hair without permission. It was as if by merit of looking different it was ok for these people to invade my personal space. :|
The solution came to me one day - I went one step short of Britney Spears' solution and cut it all off. Looked interestingly androgynous for some time afterwards.

Yes, exactly the same problem when I was young. Kids use to poke or try to tickle me all the time once they knew I hated it. I didn't deal with it well and used to clobber them. Didn't seem to stop the poking and tickling, though :(

Yes, I hate being touched and poked, too. However, if the person touching me gets my permission first, then it's ok. Poking, well, that made me think of another kind of poking, if you know what I mean. I like THAT poking. Yes, I have a dirty mind. I can't help but think about the sexual meaning of some words, like "come" for instance. I can't hear that word without giggling a little bit. Does that make me immature? I try to avoid saying the word "come" because I actually get embarrassed by it. Anyway, a big pet peeve of mine is windshield wipers going on a dry windshield. Ok, I hope I wasn't being inappropriate or offended anybody. If I did, I'm sorry.

In no particular order I hate; snoring, loud or sloppy chewing, burping, and other unpleasant noises. Also dislike being poked or jabbed, my partner throwing themselves at me for a hug or other physical contact, people resting their head on my shoulder (so uncomfortable!), being nagged, obnoxious people on trains, people who block the path, arrogant people (especially when they have a posh accent  )
