I thought this was interesting. I really hadn't attributed his actions to anything other than his being scarred by his childhood. This group of psychiatrists think he suffered from Borderline Personality Disorder.

I simply can't take the article seriously. It doesn't even take into account the effects of the Force!! !

I took that quiz "which movie villain are you?" a few weeks ago, and it said I was this guy! I didn't even know who he was! Hmmm..so I guess AS plus bad childhood equals BPD, at least in the eyes of those WebMD experts!!

I find it amusing that the mental health profession doesn't have better things to do with its time.

But then again writing random prescriptions and negotiating kickbacks doesn't take long I guess.

Man on doctor's couch: "You've got to believe me, I'm not mad. I'm a psychiatrist"

Doctor: "Very interesting and what makes you think you are a psychiatrist?"

Man on couch: "I've just diagnosed Anakin Skywalker" 8O

The diagnosis is inherently flawed. They are basing part of their diagnosis on the newest Star Wars movies, which would have been much better if they had been written by a monkey with Down Syndrome, and directed by someone recovering from a lobotomy.

My unprofessional diagnosis:

Anakin Skywalker was a whiny beeyotch-boy.

Which I guess at least means that Luke came by his whiny-beeyotch-boy tendencies honestly...

The Dark Side is its own mental disorder.... I’d call him a guilty spark if anything; when his mother died and his following actions.... This action was far more definite than his "attachment" to Padme, which is quite understandable when his history is looked at objectively, i.e., no "father" due to his mother being the Virgin Mary, leaving his mother at an early age and not seeing her until her death; unable to save her from death..., Padme being his new mummy....

He sounds like a normal human to me (until his eyes went "red" that is and he started cutting down children).

Have they gotten the approval of George Lucas before posting that? They really need it... it's against law to diagnose other peoples' property without permission. :P
