Do you have bright colors like reds yellows pinks ect in your room? Or wear brightly colored clothes?

I noticed that all of my clothes are mostly black and dark colors. I really don't like to wear bright colors because I just feel uncomfortable in them and dark colors somehow sooth me.

Bright colors hurt my eyes >_<

Does this have anything to do with sensory issues?

I really like bright colours actually but I don't think I have visual hyper-sensitivity. In fact I very much enjoy looking at things with bright colours. I have heard some people on the spectrum don't like bright colours. It makes sense to me that this could be a sensory issue related to visual hypersensitivity.

I enjoy bright colors. I wear them and have decorated my room in them. However, if colors are too bright - like neon colors - they hurt my eyes.

I also love to decorate with bright colours. There are also some bright colours that I wear. I like to wear both bright colours and regular colours.

I wear a lot of black as well. And dark colors. My only forays into brighter colors are blue and purple. Then again, when had my eyes checked with the Irlen Method, it turned out I was sensitive to a lot of yellow light. No wonder I liked blues. They cancel.

Now I've got a pair of blue glasses that block out the hurtful light, and colors don't bother me as much anymore. We'll see if that actually means I start wearing or embracing color any.

I'm kinda halfway in between. I love color, but I don't really care for pastels (too girly) or neons (too flashy). And I hate just about any color in the yellow range -- yellow, orange, peach, mustard, lime green, etc. I wear mostly what I would call "jewel tones" -- deep, rich colors like sapphire blue, emerald green, ruby red, fuschia, turquoise, deep royal purple. And I feel like I look good in navy blue and soft grays.

I love bright colors. My favorite colors are bright orange, neon green, electric blue, and hot pink.

I am eggstremely hypersensitive to light, but bright colors are not like bright lights. Bright colors don't hurt my eyes or brrrainzzz.

A woman in bright yellow really grabs my attention. Just wearing bright yellow will usually make women twice as attractive to me, if not more.

I don't think it's any sort of a sensory thing, but I also mostly wear dark colours, with some grey shirts as well

yellow orange and red tops for me, khaki or olive shorts, or blue denim trousers on cold days

I almost never wear black any more, even though it is NZ national colour.

I do love bright colors, especially pinks and other "warm" colors....I like having my My Little Ponies, plushies and die cast Cars characters out where I can see them bcuz I love how their diverse spectrum of color stimulates my line of vision. I don't have much of the aggressively bright "neon" colors that were in vogue in the early 90s in my room, though. I think those in particular would be a little too stimulating. I'm also sensitive to bright sunlight.
