Hello fellow users with Asperger's. I am here today to talk about specific sounds. It is very common for people on the spectrum to have hatred for certain noise, but how many of you feel the opposite? Let's talk about sounds we'll play over and over again.. for example, the new Gorillaz song "Andromeda". I play a certain point of the song over and over again. I've also formed an small obsession around a little jingle that plays in Splatoon. It's kind of like... ASMR to me. What are your favorite sounds, everyone?

I could list individual things, but the list would go on forever.

If I like especially like five seconds of a song, like an epic intro or something along those lines, I'll keep hitting repeat over and over. I can also listen to the same song 10 times in a row if I'm really into it. I tend to notice minute details in music, and I love it. I notice how the music is mixed on the stereo spectrum, and if it's the right balance of instrumentation in each channel it's wonderful. The right music at the right time makes me feel high, it's the biggest rush. I also love the sound of waves at the beach.

Misophonia is a hatred of sound... (miso = hate, phonia = sound). Sticking with Greek, I wonder if love of sound could be called "agapiphonia"?

Anyway..... yeah, deep resonating sounds, like Tibetan singing bowls are nice & relaxing, or certain passages in music like harmonies and modulations.
