Look at my profile obviously ;)

But I can see what you're trying to do, I've been interested to know how many people of each category are present on here as well.

Sometimes I think I might have been misdiagnosed. I am too NT off and on.

I choose Undiagnosed but every time I look at it, it says Diagnosed and I have to change it again.

I'm hoping to get diagnosed soon. I've been hoping that for a long time.

Spacecases sig could go for ME as well. Yeah, I feel gyped! I never thought much about Psychiatrists, and I never thought there was any real mental component to any problems I had. I always thought shy, dislike of sports, etc... I tried all my life to fit in, and now find I should have really relished my differences.

Anyway, they couldn't diagnose me with AS. Aspergers documents weren't translated yet. It is IRONIC that I struggled for my early scholastic career for more math, and German. I got neither, but find my life was a farse because someone never bothered to read a German document! What irony! And WHY didn't anyone ELSE discover AS in all that time?

I used to be SO stubborn. I wish I never changed. 8-( So, for those in the next generation, spacecase included of course, at least with the stereotypical AS behaviour, etc..., don't change. Stick to your guns. You'll probably be happier, and end up better for it.

I guess it IS better to act less arrogant and try to filter some things, but be judicious about it. Don't just always sit by the side lines, or simply try to fit in.

Steve

It doesn't have the option of HFA, so I picked Other Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Since its a spectrum a dx means nothing in your profile. You have people with dx
with aspergers in there profile that make $100,000 yr, master degrees, wife kids, etc
and you got people who have nothing, allways been alone, chronically unemployed or underemployed, etc.

So you got some questionable set of data that says a person has asperger and no way to quantify their level of impairment. Useless!

Mines set to I do not know if I aspergers.

Not sure if I have it or not.

Online quizzes aren't the most accurate means of diagnosis, just like the comparison of my perception of myself to possible indicators isn't. Eh. Who knows?
