So, I had talked to my counselor about some things I thought were ocd; but she had talked about how some were probably stimming. And I was thinking about how I will put deodorant on an even amount of times and all over because I’m worried about sweating and smelling bad; so I put more on to try and not sweat and smell good. So I’m wondering if this is more of a stimming thing because I feel better when I put more on because it makes me think I’ll smell better and have less of a chance of sweating. What do you guys think?

Hm I don't know. I suppose the act of constantly smelling it could be a stim if it's a soothing act for you. There seems to be a blurred line between normal hygienic practice and momentarily enjoying a scent, versus stimming to sooth yourself.

Well I do smell and then if I think I don’t smell strong/good enough I go out more on. So by putting more on it makes me feel better that I’m not going to sweat or smell bad. And when I get the anxiety and worry about it I have enough on I do the smelling and then put more on after I smell.
