Did you ever get into serious trouble at school that incurred suspension, expulsion, or transfer to another school or program?

Suspension in high due to my indifference for the status quo.

I expelled myself soon after. :)

Addendum: Retrospectively I should have been transferred to a "special school" (whatever they are)..., but all of the teachers and professionals thought nothing was wrong with me due to “passing” the arbitrary IQ test they give you if you’re “struggling”; never mind that I didn’t talk and just sat there in class reading novels and stuff that I was obsessed over.

I didn't care enough about school to do anything to get me into trouble (except disregading classwork)

to tell you the truth I'm still not sure how I graduated, even six years after the fact

Nope, no such problems at school in terms of my behaviour - I was the victim of bullying throughout my education though mostly by pupils, but in some cases by teachers too.

The only time I ever got in trouble was when I wouldn't speak to people to explain that I didn't do whatever it was they were telling me off for. At high school I was quite possibly the best behaved person there - they loved the fact that I answered all the questions as nobody else would. When I went to college though the tutors didn't like me much because of my answering of questions. I think they thought I was showing off when actually it was mind-numbingly boring if I just sat back.

I once got three months detention, but I told the teacher I wasn't going to go, so he dropped it (I know, wtf).

Other than that, never got in trouble at all.

No. I got detention a few times but that was mainly for stupid things like throwing my shoes out of the window and refusing to do my coursework. School was stupid. I'm so glad I've left that bastard place. There were one or two teachers there I liked. A select few pupils as well. But the majority were idiots. To hell with the lot of them.

Ditto, except I graduated five years ago. I think my final GPA was 1.8 or so (C- average).

I barely slid through.

The teachers liked me because I was quiet and all, and honest with them-I often heard "you're such a nice girl-stay away from some of those other crowds". But I did NOT apply myself for anything, which also drove the teachers nuts. Constantly not remembering to turn in homework, or gettin absorbed in something and forgetting I had homework altogether, not understanding my homework so not doing it... I got detention for things like that, and most of my teachers were concerned about how my other teachers were towards me-always asking questions about whether or not I understand the classes, lol, and were often concerned about how I would make it when I had to go to a new building... they talked to my mom about that a lot.

Yes, sort of, maybe I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

When I was on first year of secondary school, I prefered to stay inside the classroom at recess time, because outside was a hell for me. One day, two boys did the same, and one of them was looking inside the backpacks of our classmates (but he wasn't stealing). Then he saw an asthma medicine inhaler inside a girl's backpack. The two boys began to play with the inhaler and shooting its content. I knew how it feels when I had an asthma crisis and the medicine inhaler didn't work, so I told them "Stop playing with it . . .", but they ignored me.

Recess finished, students returned to the classroom, and the girl saw her things were out of place, she discovered that her inhaler was empty. All my classmates knew I passed the recess inside the classroom, so they thought I did it. My geography teacher sent me with the principal without asking first, and she sent me to talk with the psychologist. I said "I didn't do it", but she didn't believe me, she told me " Then I will have to talk with your parents about this problem". Finally I told her "I know who did it".

I have to pass a lot of time trying to convince her about my inocence, because the two boys didn't tell the truth. I did it and I was free of punishment, but from that day, teachers never let anybody to stay inside classrooms, the hell was waiting for me :( .

I had similar experiences, except I was never told that I'm a nice girl. ;)

I also never got detention for not doing my homework. The lack of homework doing was my only disciplinary problem for most of my school days.

*Blushes* Why, thank you, but I still can't get the captain of the football team to notice me. He's so dreamy! ;)

The three months (64 days) of detention I got was from not turning in an assignment... you got 1 day of detention to begin with until it was turned in, and every day it doubled. I never had any other teacher that gave detention for not doing homework, so I didn't really feel compelled to go.

I got detention a few times do to my habit of not doing homework. Also the school authority people came once because I basically stopped going to regular public high school (I got tutored, and ended up going to a special school). Otherwise my behavior marks were above average to excellent.

I was suspended once from school, but I won't go into detail .
