What if there was an island where everyone had AS

What do you think it would be like, would you live there, what would the culture be like, would there be much crime, What do you think it might be called?

I personally wouldn't live there but what would you think

Depends how many girls there were.
But yes, I would probably live there.
If I could bring Flo, my rabbit and my computer, and I could visit my family though.

Hmmm! Interesting question. Would I be able to watch Red Sox games? I can't live without my Red Sox. If so, maybe. We'd either all completely understand each other, or not at all.

I want to probably live there during the winter, and during the summer live here so I can see my fam.

That would be one boring island.

There would be a flipping between times of uncomfortable silences to endless spiels on obsessions. An annoying island indeed!

It would be a quiet island.

It wouldn't be like Lord of the Flies, I'll tell you that.
We aspies are far too civilized for that.

One of us would end up getting pissed off and going on a homicidal rampage killing everyone.

It would be strange....

People would only expect others to have extremely basic social skills. Thus eliminating many of the problems us Aspies have in the world. The government would be interesting though, I once read a list of famous Aspies and only one was a politician. We may just throw out representatives and have a direct democracy.

The possibilities are fascinating.

it would depend where it is.
a cold place would be nice, but some people like hot places better. so maybe a place that gets real cold in the winter but real warm in the summer. sorta cold in fall and sorta warm in spring. something for everyone
the houses would have to all have AC in summer and heat in winter.
FAST internet connection. ohhhhhh the entire place could be on 1 huge gigabit ethernet network so we could share media and whatnot with each other.
but no flys

It will have to have

-Plenty of natural scenery and wildlife.
-Schools that teach children by nurturing their talents, not turning them into corporate drones.
-Everything in walking/biking distance since many of us can't drive.
-Every store equipped with self-checkout kiosks so you won't have to talk to the cashier.
-Laws that make it a federal offense to have loud music booming from one's car.

If everyone had AS, my dh wouldn't be there so neither would I.

I think that our society would bevery loose. I think we would all grok each other pretty well. I think that without the need to live in a world that is not our own, that we ould have little stress. We would have technology for nearly everything. I think it may not be paradise. . .but it would be very close.
