I really want to say THEORETICALLY small or insignificant. Warning-I use some mild swear words, because it upsets me thinking about it.

I’m REALLY bothered by people breaking theoretically small or insignificant rules. Not so much if there’s a logical reason for it, and I respect someone who will break a rule FOR THE RIGHT REASON-ie they have an actual, moral reason for breaking it.

But I’m REALLY upset by people willfully doing things like:
Littering-Who the HELL do they think is going to pick up the garbage they just randomly threw on the ground. Why the HELL do people think this is okay? What is wrong with them? Complete disregard for others.

Parking in a handicapped parking space without a permit. This is willfully hurting people who need the space. You’re making their lives harder, making it so possibly they can’t get to a store, etc….just because you’re TOO LAZY to walk a few extra feet?!?

Speeding-are you better than the rest of us that the speed limit doesn’t apply to you?

There are lots more, but those are some examples of common ones. As far as I’m concerned, things like littering show a complete lack of moral character. I have no doubt that someone who does that will do far worse things too.

I also get completely infuriated by the big things-people screwing over others to make money, which is incredibly not only tolerated in the United States by big mega corps, but it’s encouraged!

People who chew loudly.
People who play music loudly in their car so I can hear it as well.
Drunk people talking loudly in the middle of the night.
When people walk slowl in front of you when you're trying to get somewhere.

In quite a lot of places (particularly in England) there are far more disabled parking spaces than are necessary. I'm talking about like 20+ parking spaces when it's not a huge or busy supermarket. There probably isn't 20 disabled people in the whole of my town!

Oh, and then they have loads of 'parent and child' parking spaces. How the hell do they enforce this? These spaces are only there for fat cows and their noisy offspring. Why do they deserve special treatment? Our money is just as good as theirs! I don't like the way people without children are treated as second-class citizens in supermarkets. So when we can we always park in a P&C space just to spit at the idea.

Often there's very little danger attached to speeding but the authorities use speed cameras simply to make money. Going 85mph at 3am on a well-lit and snow-free motorway is not dangerous. Yet some people would have you believe it is.

Littering is disgusting, I agree with you there. It clutters up the place in which you live and makes it untidy and that shouldn't be tolerated.

Yes, yes and yes.

I particularly hate people who step out in front of you and then walk slowly.

I also don't like people dodging paying for things. I know someone who will deliberately get on a train at a station without a ticket office, so that if the conductor doesn't come round on the train, he dodges paying. I think that is purposefully avoiding paying, and therefore stealing.

Oh dear , i am stressed and iritated by pretty much everything it seems , although particularly things resulting from people.
a few things would include :
traffic jams
teenagers loitering outside shops
people drinking in the street whilst blocking the pavement and being obnoxious
people who let small children near the road
people who let there very young children out alone to play in the middle of the road
people who leave broken glass on pavements and also on the park , both the field area and the childrens play area
people who park on the pavement and think they they are being nice by leaving an extremly small gap for me to walk through.... say bye bye to your wing mirrors guys.

I just thought of another one!

Parents taking their children to inappropriate movies (R or PG-13 rated or whatever), and letting them play inappropriate games. In many cases I think it's child abuse. They always think their child is "more mature", "special"...if they think at all.

Another one is letting children wear slu*ty clothes. I can't believe the things parents let their daughters wear. Why would you do that to your child? My mom has a friend who lets her daughter wear all kinds of garbage, and the mother doesn't seem to get that it's sexual.

I'm grossed out by that (and the smells), but I can't really blame people for it.

Yep. If it goes past a reasonable level into "we're calling attention to ourselves" level of loudness.

I can't really fault people for that, as often they may not be able to move any faster, and you can go around them and stuff. But I am bothered especially by people on the expressway who are speeding, rush past you, then get in front of you and slow down! Sometimes they rush past you, only to slow down 2 seconds later to an exit ramp.
I also hate how these jerks who are speeding always slow WAY DOWN whenever there's a police officer. Like they don't even go the speed limit anymore. So they speed past me making nuisances of themselves, then brake and go real slow, so I have to get past them AGAIN, then they go real fast again. Meanwhile I'm going the speed limit the whole time.

Have you ever tried to get small children out of a car in a supermarket car parking space ? Its not easy ! the reason for those larger spaces is because people need space to be able to securely strap there young children into there car seats , hence you need to be able to open the door fully , which in most supermarket spaces is impossible. The larger space also means your child is less at risk of being hit by a car because there is enough space for them to stand beside you and not at the rear of a car.
So in short I do belive there is a valid use for and need for those spaces.

I think everyone, NTs and Aspies included, respond strongly to some "minor" irritations. The correct terminology is "pet peeve."

Mine are:
-When people play music in the apartment next door loudly enough for me to hear.
-When people say things to me like "you should talk more" or "you're not much of a talker, are you?" :x
-When people demand that I "smile".
-When people leave their dogs outside all night, and let them bark and keep others awake.

I could go on, but these are some of my major pet peeves.

Same. There are a LOT of things that drive me absolutely nuts that people do, something huge could happen and I wouldn't flinch though, lol.

people dont do this often. if you do, u get toed or fined or something. i guess if ur just running in for 1 second you just justify it as being the same as parking on the curve infront of the store.

maybe they are a mailman rushing home to prevent their friend from committing suicide because of being rejected from his life long goal of being a banker :D
