Post pictures of your computer and also screen captures. To get a screen capture in Microsoft Windows, just hit the Print Screen key on your computer (it's usually by Number Lock and Pause/Break). Hitting Print Screen sends a screen capture to the Windows Clipboard so that you can paste it into Paint or some other image editing program. Scale it down to a reasonable size, save it as a JPEG file, and upload it onto ImageShack.
My computer is a Dell Inspiron 8500 running Microsoft Windows XP. The programs you see open on the screen are Mozilla Firefox 1.0.5, NetBeans IDE 4.1, and Nvu 1.0.

These thumbnails link to the full-sized versions. I'm trying not to stretch the page out too much.
Here's my 15" PowerBook, which I named 'Alphonse'. (The result of getting a metallic-cased laptop after watching FullMetal Alchemist a lot, naturally.)
And here's a screenshot. I've blurred out the names on my buddy list, because this is in the 'General Discussion' and not 'Members Only' forum. I am leaving the IRC discussion unobscured, though, because it's WrongPlanet's chat.
'ere, neanthumain - have you got a new digital camera, or something? what with this plethora of threads about photos, and pictures of just about everything? do tell. however, i'm starting to wonder what you'll be taking pictures of next...
It is the travel writer/broadcaster, Alan Whicker. He used to present these television programmes about travelling around the world, so I thought I would re-cast him as travelling slightly off world. I got the idea from seeing an ancient re-run of one of his shows on Sky Travel, where there was a Concorde Aeroplane taking off behind him, so I had the picture of the Stargate in my mind, as this was one of the things I was really into a few years ago.
