Giving yourself daily doses of The Red Pill
Let the NT world wallow in The Matrix and their blue-pill sense of fulfillment. Take what you already know and stack it with what you learn every day.
If you have a hyperfocus on playing an instrument, give yourself a good hour hands-on every day, no more, no less. Even (ESPECIALLY) on those days when the desire is not there.
Same thing applies to visual creativity, or coding, or SpongeBob.
Hit the gym: if you are on any form of supplemental income provided by your government, there is a clause hidden somewhere in their contract to provide you services that they would rather pay your gym dues if it keeps you out of the hospital or from taking up other huge amounts of resources. If you're asthmatic, a steam room is a lot cheaper than inhalers and has more long-term benefits.
Once you're in, 3 or 4 days week giving it a good hour to 90 minutes each session (DON'T overdo yourself the first time but don't fail to challenge yourself either). Start off by committing yourself to walk 3 miles or 30 minutes on the treadmill for the first few weeks. Once you venture over to the weight machines, do 3 sets of 10 repetitions at a weight you are comfortable with, giving yourself a rest period of 60 seconds between sets. Once you start noticing gains in strength, reduce rest time to 30 seconds. Once that becomes too easy, move to the next highest weight and go back to 60 second rest. After the 3rd cycle of increasing, go back to the initial weight and double the sets.
The main idea is to balance out your mental stimulation routine with some physical, and some of the social improvement will come with the territory
