I've been seing autism being used a lot as an insult lately. It's like a new "funny" way to call people ret*d.
Honestly I don't think we should care. We know who are the true ret*ds, and those are the people who makes lyrics like these, and the people who likes their songs.

Arguying with them is like talking to a wall. Even worse, because this wall will start laughing and call you fa***t or any other ret*d insult they know.

We should probably isolate ourselves a bit. The mainstream neurotypical society is a very aggressive, unpredictable, illogical, and irrational place. But look how far our "kind" has made it without their help. We literally run the world. So what I just do is deal with the crap as much as I can, fight back a bit, then deal with it some more. I'm not sure how much more we can do besides stay down and keep silently doing what we love.

Who cares. J Cole is a terrible rapper and is just making a crappy rhyme. Why does it matter if people are using autism as an insult? Words only have the power you give them. If we didn't give stuff like this attention then it wouldn't be used as an insult. When these people say "you're autistic" they aren't literally referring to people with AS, they are using it as a term for stupid. I doubt they actually think people with autism are stupid.

J Cole does stuff like this a lot, he uses derogatory terms all the time to trigger people because thats the only way he can stay relevant. Just search up j cole controversy and you'll see.

The more we freak out about this, the more people will use it.

I agree to a point that to listen to the rude people doesn't help in any way, but if we don't address the fact that people that write sites such as what i am about to give the link for are hate filled people who influence the talking points in the general uneducated society, then i am afraid that people with a valid condition where their brains just don't work the same as others will continue to be vilified and continue to be the largest cross section of people committing suicide.

I don't have a lot of good opinions but i'll just say my opinion on this to see if it makes any sense to others.

I think later on in life the rapper will realize that a lot of autistics are very smart and talented. He just needs to learn that this offended people who are autistic. He obviously can't take those harsh lyrics back because of how much publicity it has gotten.
