I'm just interested to know what clothes you all like wearing?

Do you hate labels and have to cut them off?
Do you hate certain materials?
Do you like tight or loose clothing?
Do you like skimpy clothing or clothing that covers most of your body?

I don't like some labels, but T-shirt labels are ok.
I hate artificial materials because they don't feel nice to the touch. In fact some materials make me feel sick when I touch them. I only wear cotton and linen.
I hate tight clothing, I feel like I'm suffocating when I wear something tight. All my clothing is very loose and comfortable. I don't understand the NT view of wearing uncomfortable clothing to impress other people. Comfortability and practicality are the two most important things about clothes.
I like to wear trousers and T-shirts as I get too hot in long sleeves. I hate skimpy clothing because I feel vulnerable in skimpy clothing.

Things that I don't like:
Hats
glasses
wigs
ear muffs
anything that involves the head or face makes me itch like mad

Another source of irritation: my legs. They itch when I go jogging in anything but shorts.
Clothing bothers me more than I realize, but I have learned to tune out the irritation. I tend to block it and instead of experiencing it physically, I experience it as this psychological malady, a bad attitude, unhappiness, bitchiness. A lot of it has to do with me being physically uncomfortable.

I go for comfy, too. T-shirts, jeans, that's usually what I'm wearing. I don't care for expensive brands or designers AT ALL. I don't mind the labels. I'm not particularly opposed to synthetic materials, but I usually wear cotton. I prefer loose clothing to tight. My clothes usually cover most of my body. I don't have any abs to show off, haha!

It's not an NT thing per se. There are plenty of non-autistics who don't care that much about impressing people with the latest fashion or expensive clothes.

On certain clothing I have to cut off the tags because they drive me bonkers. The only material I don't like is wool. All of my clothing is loose, and wearing two layers or anything tight makes me uncomfortable. My clothing covers most of my body because I'm always worried I'll flash someone if I wear a skirt or too low a shirt. I also don't get the NT idea of wearing uncomfortable clothing to impress people, because I'll only wear clothes I find comfortable and I like.

Loose cotton clothing only. No tags. Sports bras only. Wind doesn't bother me, so I'm fine in shorts; but when I get over a certain level of overload, I tend to wrap myself in a blanket or cloak. That has the effect of making the world "smaller", and more manageable.

I like my clothes loose, cept underwear. Those have to be tight, like a second skin.

I ALWAYS wear cargo pants and a tshirt. Even in 120 degree summers, I wear pants. It sucks having a nice long scar on your leg that you HATE little brat kids going, 'did it hurt?'

as little as possible for as long as am can get away without forced into them.

for going to places, its 'soft' stuff, jogging pants if raining- or shorts, pale blue seamless and label less mens boxer shorts from marks and spencer, soft sports bra [turned inside out as the print on them are too much],shirt, hoodie if raining, bare feet if can get away with it-if not, light trainers that really grip.
am try to get stuff that doesnt have labels on,rather than having someone cut them off,as am find cut off labels are often just as overloading as having them on.

I don't have too many sensory issues and I didn't even as a kid (as a toddler yes) but those tags I CANNOT stand. I even cut them away for my daughter who is not at all under the spectrum. But I would think those tags would bother anyone.

I always wear cotton clothing with no tags, either made that way or with the tag completely removed.

It must be loose fitting and I prefer jersey knit.

I like wearing clothes that are comfortable to the touch, hang loose, and light as a feather.

Cotton is best for me - one layer (sometimes tough to do in the dead of winter.) Tags don't normally bother me, except the ones that have scratchy edges - those I rip out. But I really like the recent tendency to put tags near the bottom of the shirt, instead of the back of the neck.

I go nuts if my clothes are too tight - I don't like feeling constrained. When I get home, after sitting around in clothes all day, the clothes come off. But when I'm where people can see me, I like to be covered (so even in the heat of summer, or when exercising, the least I'll wear is a t-shirt & shorts.)

I don't like anything on my torso (sensory), and I won't bother wearing a shirt unless I go out amongst them, or it's cold. I pull the tags off my shirts or I can't wear them when I go out; I can't wear watches and any type of jewellery on my arms/hands/neck. I like knee-length shorts and track pants, and that's what I wear (the same types of).

My torso seems to be severely affected in regards to touch.

I hate thick wool. Itches like hell. All my clothes have to be made out of thin thread, like cotton.

I actually hate underwear; I am extremely fussy about what knickers I buy because if they're slightly wrong in shape, it will overload me. I hate bras and sometimes I wish I was male so I wouldn't have breasts! When I'm at home, I only wear pyjamas and no underwear - it drives my Mum crazy for some reason. She wears jeans at home!

I like oversized T-shirts and cargo trousers.

I can't say I care too much about clothes. As a kid, though, my mom never really bought me enough clothes, and I being a boy would rip my jeans up easy and the like, so I ended up doing lots of halfass sewing jobs, as my mom didn't know how to sew. So like, a lot of the time I looked like crap due to that. Once I got older, I started buying all my clothes myself at Salvation Army, and after wearing new, but crappy Walmart clothes, I started loving name brand clothes, I was pretty amazed at how well, say, an Abercrombie or Hilfiger shirt fit me compared to the Hanes in a pack, dirt cheap, too, most shirts I got for like 50c or so.

The only real quirk I have is for boxers, my favorite boxers are oddly American Eagle boxers. They fit me the best. Every other boxer is made for guys with small thighs, so generally I fit a small/medium waist size for boxers, but more along the lines of large for the leg holes. I really wish I could "upgrade" all my boxers to nice fitting American Eagle ones, instead of the Hanes and Fruit of the Loom ones I wear most of the time now, but to solve that problem I just cut an inch slit on the side of the boxers.

Oh, for shoes, I now prefer like cheap crappy Canvas shoes over like, more modern kinda sneakers. Also for a time, I wore boots a lot. And for socks, I prefer black socks. One odd thing I do now is sometimes I'll wear dress socks with sneakers, as I have to wear dress socks for ice skating, and overall dress socks are more comfy, but the problem is they don't absorb sweat, so your shoes smell, so now I wear dress socks under my athletic socks.

In general, I don't really wear super tight clothes, but I also don't like wearing loose clothes, either. Loose clothes actually make you look fat imo.

But those are my preferences.
